AnyScreen Privacy Policy

For the iPhone version of AnyScreen

Version: 1.0 Last updated: August 26, 2026 Effective: August 26, 2026

Welcome to AnyScreen. This Privacy Policy is issued by Hangzhou Feifan Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”) and explains how information is handled and protected when we provide casting, media sharing, device discovery, web-video, and connection-diagnostics features.

Current-version summary: AnyScreen requires no account and does not upload the photos, videos, files, screen images, or app audio you select to Company cloud servers. Most processing takes place on your device or within your local network. Third-party websites and video sources you choose to access, and receiver devices you select, may process information under their own rules.

Important security notice: Browser casting, DLNA playback, and live screen streaming operate over the same local network, and some protocols use unencrypted local HTTP. Do not cast sensitive content over untrusted public Wi-Fi. Stop casting or turn off the receiver service when finished.

1. Scope and Processing Principles

We comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we offer our Services or where our users are located, as applicable. We follow the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, and security.

The current version of AnyScreen does not require you to provide your name, phone number, email address, government-issued identification, payment information, precise location, contacts, microphone recordings, or advertising identifier. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or personalized advertising. Any limited technical information processed in connection with the operation of the App is handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Process and Why

AnyScreen performs most processing on your device or within your local network. Some information may relate to your household network, devices, or content, so we describe it carefully below.

Category When and what is processed Purpose Storage and recipients
Local-network and receiver information Names of devices on the same local network, protocol type, service or local IP address, port, model or vendor description, playback-control endpoint, and network connection type and status. Discover AirPlay, DLNA/UPnP, Google Cast, Roku, Fire TV, and similar devices; determine available capabilities; provide diagnostics. Processed mainly in memory and in the on-device operation log. Shared only as needed with the local receiver you choose. Not uploaded to Company cloud servers.
Photos, videos, music, PDFs, and files you select Processed only after you choose items from Photos or Files, including the content itself and playback attributes such as file name, format, size, duration, and resolution. Stream media over the local network to a television, browser, computer, in-car display, or other receiver you select or pair. Small items may be held temporarily in memory. Large files are streamed. Temporary conversion files are removed after use or app cleanup. Content is not uploaded to Company cloud servers.
Screen images and app audio Only after you start a broadcast through the iOS system interface, AnyScreen processes screen video frames and in-app audio. The current version does not capture microphone audio. Encode a live local-network stream and send it to the compatible receiver you select. Processed on device and transmitted locally only during the broadcast. It is not uploaded to Company cloud servers or saved as a long-term recording.
Websites, URLs, and video-source information URLs you enter or open, page titles, page content, detected media addresses and formats, website bookmarks you save, and links you choose to paste. Open pages, find compatible video, validate public direct-media URLs, and cast them to a television. Bookmarks stay on device. WebKit may keep cookies, cache, and website data on device. Third-party websites and video servers receive ordinary network requests.
On-device preferences and operation logs The selected-device identifier, website bookmarks, and scan, connection, casting, receiver-start, error, and troubleshooting events. Logs may include timestamps, device names, protocols, local addresses, media or file names, website domains, errors, and outcomes. Remember local choices, show diagnostic evidence, and help you troubleshoot. We use a log for support only if you export and send it. Stored locally on your device. We cannot access it remotely. A recipient receives a copy only if you export it through the system share sheet.
Clipboard text Read only when you tap a Paste button. Fill a website or video URL. Processed instantly on device. No continuous background access or upload.
Support messages If you email us, your message may include your email address, problem description, device and OS version, television brand, and any screenshot or operation log you attach. Respond to support requests, faults, and complaints. Transmitted by your email provider and kept by us only for a reasonably necessary period. Review attachments before sending.

2.1 Sensitive information in media and screen content

Photos, videos, files, websites, or screen images you choose may contain faces, children's information, communications, financial-account information, health information, precise location, work materials, or other sensitive data. AnyScreen does not deliberately identify or analyze this content, but it transmits the content to the receiver you instruct it to use. Before casting, verify the content, receiver, people who can view the screen, and network environment, and make sure you have the right to share the content.

3. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

You can turn off Local Network or Photos access in iPhone Settings → AnyScreen and stop a screen broadcast at any time through the system interface. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed, but related features may stop working.

4. Sharing, Service Providers, and Third Parties

4.1 Local receivers you choose

When you select a television, browser, computer, in-car display, or other receiver and start casting, AnyScreen sends media, a screen stream, a playback URL, or control instructions to that receiver at your direction. This transfer is necessary to provide the casting feature you request. The receiver, its operating system, installed apps, or manufacturer may independently record or process the content it receives. Use only trusted devices you control or are authorized to use.

4.2 Apple system services

AnyScreen uses Photos and Files pickers, AirPlay, ReplayKit, WebKit, and the system share sheet provided by iOS. Apple provides these system features under its own terms. If you export an operation log through the share sheet, you choose the recipient.

4.3 Third-party websites and video sources

When you visit a website in the built-in browser or enter a public media URL, the website, content-delivery network, or video server may receive your IP address, browser and device information, cookies, requested URL, and other ordinary network information. A provider may operate outside China. AnyScreen does not control these independent third parties, so review their privacy policies and browse carefully.

4.4 Third-party SDKs, advertising, and analytics

If a later version adds a third-party analytics SDK or another third-party service, we will update this Policy and the third-party SDK list before enabling it, describe the provider, information processed, purpose, and handling method, and obtain consent where required by law.

4.5 Legal requirements and corporate transactions

We may process or disclose information we actually hold when required by applicable law or a lawful request from a judicial or administrative authority. If a merger, division, acquisition, or asset transfer involves personal information, we will provide legally required notice and require the successor to continue protecting it.

5. Storage, Retention, and International Transfers

The Company does not use an AnyScreen backend to transfer this local data outside China. A third-party website, video source, or receiver you choose may process information outside China under its own responsibility.

6. Security Measures and Risks

We reduce risk through least-privilege access, system pickers, local-network restrictions, a random six-digit pairing code, temporary media services, on-device logs, and stopping services when a session ends. However, because of local-network protocol and television-compatibility constraints, some DLNA, browser-casting, and live-screen traffic uses unencrypted HTTP and does not provide Internet-grade end-to-end encryption.

If a security incident affects information under the Company's actual control, we will take remedial action and notify affected individuals and authorities where required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, decide, restrict or object, access, copy, correct, delete, withdraw consent, and complain. Because most current-version information remains only on your device, we normally cannot retrieve it from a server for you. You can:

For information independently processed by a website, video source, television, or receiver, exercise your rights directly with that third party.

8. Children's Privacy

AnyScreen is a general-purpose utility and is not directed specifically to children. It does not require account registration. Users under 18 should review this Policy and use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian. Children under 14 should use it only with a guardian's consent and supervision. Guardians should pay particular attention to the photos, videos, screen content, websites, and receivers involved so that a child's information is not displayed or transmitted inappropriately.

If you believe children's information has been affected by processing involving information actually held by the Company, contact us below so we can verify and address the matter as required by law.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy when laws, product features, or processing practices change. If we introduce accounts, cloud transmission, analytics, advertising, payments, third-party SDKs, or other processing that materially affects your rights, we will provide appropriate notice before enabling the feature and obtain consent where required. The updated Policy will be posted prominently in the app or on the official website with revised update and effective dates.
